Publishes original research articles, letters, case reports, reviews/mini-reviews and guest edited thematic issues on various topics related to Natural Products. 

The section Natural Product of the journal Current Indian Science publishes original research articles, letters, reviews/mini-reviews and guest-edited thematic issues on various topics related to natural products.

This section is not limited to a specific aspect of the field but is instead devoted to a wide range of sub-fields in the area. Articles of multi-disciplinary nature are particularly welcome. Submissions in the following areas are of special interest to the readers of this journal:

· Any relevant study establishing formulation development, characterization and pharmacological evaluation for Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy, Siddha and Naturopathy system of medicine.

· Biological and health benefits of natural products.

· Clinical studies to establish the efficacy of herbal drugs or herbalpreparations

· Comprehensive and critical reviews on traditional, pharmacognostical,phytochemical, nutraceutical, pharmacological, clinical and legal status ofmedicinal plants

· Establishment of standardization methods for bioactive plant extractsand natural products.

· Formulation and delivery systems of natural products and bioactivecompounds.

· Herbal innovation, intellectual property rights and entrepreneurshipthrough herb-based technology and formulation.
